Although the club is on official summer break, the portraits SIG will be Portrait session at the ELR Bolton Street Railway Station as an extra meeting on that night starting at 6-30pm where all members of the Society will be welcome. Brain Parkin who is arranging the meet has engaged a professional model who will be dressed in period costume (1950s). Emma has also arranged for Gabby and Mathew to join us again. Stuart has arranged with his contact at the ELR to have the Buffet open so that refreshments can be purchased. Our intension is to pose the models at various location about platforms 3 and 4, also with access to the carriages which are usually parked in the platform. Due to the cost implication of the Models and ELR Donation we will be requesting that all persons who attend to make a contribution of between £5 and £10.The Railway will be running trains during the day but this service will be finishing at 5pm, so members who wish to make a day of it, could have a travel on the railway in the afternoon, have a meal at the pub on the platform and then join us at 6-30pm.
