Dave is a former member of this club and is well known on Flickr and elsewhere for his smartphone images.

Dave has been a member at Bury PS for many years over two periods going back to the late 1970's to the mid 1980's, the second term was from the 2000's, when he held several positions on the committee, including President, Competition secretary, Exhibition secretary and running the website. During this time he entered many external competitions, gaining CPAGB, BPE2* and AFIAP.  The last time he was a member was 2015, when he had had enough of all competitions and taking photos to please judges, that's when he started taking photos for himself, and started using his iPhone pretty much all the time. He carried on going to Lancashire Monochrome Club and is still a member, He shows prints there almost every month mainly taken using his iPhone.
