'Stumbling Around in the Dark' by Robert Harvey

Robert Harvey is presenting to us. Robert says:

Digital photography enables us to capture the beauty of the night sky in unprecedented detail. In this evening of landscape astrophotography, I show how to use an ordinary digital single lens reflex camera to make stunning images of stars, planets, earth’s moon and the Milky Way, as well as more elusive astronomical phenomena such as meteors and eclipses. In the second half, I recount travels in the arctic in search of the aurora borealis and on four continents to photograph total solar eclipses.

The meeting will be held on Zoom and members will receive a link via email.

We welcome guests at our talks. If you would like to attend, please contact us via this form.
